heavy sampling tends to drive this jeep and give it some character, many popular/unknown gems lifted from various dusty tapes and wax procured from thrift stores and vinyl throughout northern florida, cheap drum machines are clumsily slammed against it all and keep everything in a familiarly dance-y zone, while amateur chords and melodies are provided via guitar center synths and youtube ripped commodore 64 blips and stabs (note the cheeky nintendo voices as outliers). a fusion of analog discoveries and pixelated memories (melded together by the relentless florida heat), its an apt soundtrack for long and wistful road trips.

tim green is back with another brace of high impact club tunes of the sort that have made him one of the most in demand producers of the day. whether serving up rolling techno treats for cocoon, essential mixes for the body language series on get physical or laying down compelling club sets in the dj booth, brit tim green is unstoppable right now. here he steps up to the get weird imprint with two more tantalising cuts that show just how broad and brilliant an artist he is. stirring opener ‘for a memory’ is eleven minutes of wordless and intoxicating female vocals, slick rubbery drums and plunging bass. the overall effect is hypnotic, rolling and perfectly groovy, and it will no doubt have whole dancefloors locked under its spell. some little melodic explosions, sweeping filters and luscious pads all help add a real air of grace to proceedings that mark it out as another classic from green. ‘for a distant memory’ is a subtle but noteworthy reworking of the same cut. in this one, the drums are less direct and more stripped back, there is a focus on the angelic, glowing pads and on spine tingling slices of synth that are reflective and emotive as they drop in and out. it is a perfectly trance inducing, heart warming cut that the likes of lee burridge at his all day i dream parties, or various djs playing on a sun kissed terrace around the globe, will all lap right up. these are two more essential tracks from the ever on point tim green.

the contemporaly house tracks which combine his established heavy groove, smoothness & beautiful essence! -secret floor 002- misterious, raw feeling & the roop of vocal sample are intertwined together to be miraculous sounds-saturday night- melodious and uplifting house track-o-nature- unique sound quality made by mpc & the trumpet sample greatly melt together -sky lounge- slow down...dope track with a spice of japanese sample blackoly profile:dj, beatmaker, and sound producer in tokyo, japan. born in 1981, his parents taught him to play in a forest and make what he wants to play by himself. started his dj carrer when he was 19.the first track he played was -bucktown- by smif-n-wessun. in the ensuing year he started making tracks under the name of dj shibaki. kept releasing his own tracks by casset tapes and cd-r and released -document-(12-) in 2006. after that he released mix cd -abstract- and -gravity-, and he has done around 100 of play in a year with his style of going back and forth freely among various sounds evolving abstract, breakbeats and hiphop.in 2009 he played together with dday one, dorian concept without knowing who they are. when he played together with dj kensei, he got a meaningfull comment -do you always do such a mix?- in 2010 he became immersed in creating tracks with mpc2000xl which was not not used for a long time, and started doing dj & live only with his own tracks by using cd-r & kaoss pad. thereafter he started making house tracks under the name of blackoly influenced by house djs & dancers whom he has played with since 2000s. the various music in his background & the dancer s excitement on the floor like -house- atmosphere greatly melted together and it led to build his unique sounds. in 2013 he released -dirty channel-(12-), in 2014 -dr.circus-(cd), and his work continues to this time.
